Announcing Binance Smart Chain Pools on Polkastarter

The next phase of Polkastarter will integrate Binance Chain to make IDOs more accessible and promote cross-chain interoperability.

Today, we are excited to announce our integration of the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) for fixed swaps. The announcement will unlock greater liquidity for token project IDOs on Polkastarter and foster interoperability for the Web3 ecosystem at large.

If you are a project planning an IDO soon and are interested in launching on BSC, apply to Polkastarter through our launch page. We are always seeking strong and expertly-led teams, and firmly believe expanding our offerings into the Binance ecosystem will help us identify more early, high-potential startups and support them in their efforts to bootstrap their product and community.

What does the announcement mean?

• The integration means projects will be able to launch their Polkastarter IDOs on both Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain simultaneously, unlocking greater liquidity and reaching wider audiences with their initial token offerings.
• The POLS token will be available on BSC as well as on Ethereum, opening up access of Polkastarter IDOs to the BSC ecosystem as well. Important: we will announce the date and the right smart contract. DO NOT BUY ANY POLS TOKEN ON BSC UNTIL WE ANNOUNCE THE RIGHT CONTRACT.
• Projects that are raising with Polkastarter will have access to a chain-swap tool that allows their token holding community to easily swap their assets between exchanges on Ethereum and BSC. A bridge option will be available on Polkastarter for BSC, planned for release in late March.
• Supporting BSC will provide Polkastarter participants with cheaper gas fees for participating in IDOs, likely paving the way for more equitable and accessible token offerings in the future.

Integrating BSC into Polkastarter’s IDO offering will drastically improve liquidity and community adoption of young protocols. It also, however, is a big step in Polkastarter’s broader mission to foster multi-chain interoperability.

We believe the future of Web3 is cross-chain composability, and we aim to integrate every major network to make Polkastarter a secure and scalable location to find and launch the best projects in the crypto ecosystem.

Following our Moonbeam partnership announcement last year, integrating BSC is another opportunity to demonstrate our vision to the community, and we’re excited to work with projects who share our passion for interoperability.
