Polkastarter x Mode Quest: Begins Thursday, Feb. 16 @ 10m UTC

We are teaming up with Mode to give everyone a chance to climb the leaderboard. You can get an even bigger piece of an upcoming delicious pie if you're among the most active degens out there. With Mode’s overarching Airdrop 1 campaign ongoing, we wanted to give the $POLS community early access and a taste of what their team is building. 

Every participant will also be able to enter a raffle having a chance to be one of the 200 winners receiving an additional 100$ in stables on top of the Quest rewards. We strongly believe Mode is on the path to success and this Quest will give $POLS holders the unique opportunity to share in that success down the road.

While we can’t yet say anything about the pie itself, we can promise you endless regrets if you choose not to participate.

During the quest, participants will get to use Mode’s modular L2 mainnet, optimized for all things DeFi, and touch a variety of buttons. It’s one of those things where experimentation is highly advised – the more, the merrier, the heartier. 

Now, let’s get to the specifics…

How to participate

To get access to the Quest and qualify for the unique benefits, participants should have at least 250 POLS Power and bridge over some $ETH to Mode. Step-by-step guide 👇

1. Have 250+ POLS Power
   By holding or staking at least 250 POLS, or equivalent in LP tokens.
   The snapshot has been taken on February 14th at 12:00 UTC.
   
2. Bridge some $ETH to Mode
   Not on Mode yet? Ser… 🤭
   
   To bridge over, head to https://app.mode.network/. Make sure you have enough $$$ for gas too!
   
   *Note: we recommend having a minimum of 0.1 ETH on Mode if you want to complete the quest since you’ll need some to pay for bridge and gas fees.
   
   If you want to compete for the additional 500,000 $MODE boost, we advise you to bridge significantly more and remain active on chains for the next couple of months.–
   
3. Begin the Quest on Galxe
   Nice knowing you 👊
   
4. Complete the test sale on Polkastarter and claim your $MODEPOLS
   Buy 1 $MODEPOLS for 0.0000001 $ETH testing the Mode L2 on Polkastarter.
   
   Note: $MODEPOLS is a token specifically created for this quest. It doesn’t hold any value and is not the end reward.
   
5. Complete the rest of the Galxe tasks
   The usual, ya know...
   
6. Claim your OAT
   The OAT signifies you’ve completed the Polkastarter x Mode Quest. Keep it safe and sound – it is your key to the Mode [redacted] Booster leaderboard for the POLS community.
   
7. Raffle for 200 x 100$ in stables.
   200 participants will be rewarded with 100$ in stables at the end of the campaign. The raffle will happen on Friday, Feb. 23rd, at 6:00pm UTC.

8. Booster
   Anyone who has completed the Quest and claimed their OAT will have scored points for MODE Airdrop 1 Campaign. Top 50 participants in terms of Mode Points will receive an additional booster. 
   
   Mode distribution happening 30 days after TGE (expected Q2). You should really be as active as possible while experimenting with the network. Activity, TVL, referrals on-chain, all that counts 😉
