How to participate in a Polkastarter Public Sale on Arbitrum?

Hold onto your hats because the first-ever Arbitrum sale is just around the corner – $G3 is stealing the spotlight!

If you’ve never used the Arbitrum network before, we’ve prepared a user-friendly tutorial to walk you through the process.

Please note: we are using Arbitrum One chain for hosting token sales on Polkastarter.

Here’s how you can participate in Polkastarter IDOs on Arbitrum One:

Step 1: Add the Arbitrum One network on your MetaMask wallet
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to add Arbitrum to your Metamask wallet! 

Step 2: Add funds to your Arbitrum account
You’ll need ETH on Arbitrum to participate in the sale. Be aware that a tiny amount of ETH will also be used as a transaction fee on Arbitrum.

Option A: Withdraw $ETH on Arbitrum
The easiest way to get your $ETH on Arbitrum is to withdraw it on Arbitrum One from an exchange of your choice.

You can find the list of centralized exchanges supporting withdrawals on Arbitrum One here and decentralized ones here.

Option B: Bridge
An alternative solution is bridging ETH tokens from the network you have them on to Arbitrum with the Arbitrum bridge. Go here: https://bridge.arbitrum.io/ 

Log in to the bridge with your wallet and make sure you are connected to the source network (from where you want to deposit your ETH) at the top of the page. Then, select Arbitrum one as the “To” network. And ETH as the asset.

After you submit the transaction through your web3 wallet you can expect your funds to arrive on the destination chain within roughly 15-30 minutes (depending on the chain congestion).

Step 3: Go to our site and click “Connect Wallet” in the top right corner.

Step 4: Select Arbitrum network on your wallet.
There would be a dropdown button with the different networks - Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, Celo Avalanche, or Arbitrum. You have to select Arbitrum. You’ll see there if your ETH is already bridged.

Step 5: Confirm
If you see a message saying you have selected the wrong network, you’ll need to change it. Connect your MetaMask to Artbitrum with steps 2 and 3 above.

Step 6: IDO Time
Congratulations! You can now participate in future Polkastarter IDOs on Arbitrum.
