Polkastarter 1.0 Beta Is Now Live!

The most exciting day in our history is here!

Polkastarter 1.0 Beta is now live on the Ethereum mainnet. From today, you’ll be able to participate in the first featured token swaps, including the first batch of 3 projects that are going to use our technology.

6 featured pools for SpiderDAO, MahaDAO and Royale will be made available on a rolling basis from Beta launch. Half of these pools will be for public participants, and the other half exclusive to $POLS holders. You can navigate to our homepage or click on “Pools” on the menu to access these pools and read more information about the projects.

Additionally, we created a Polkastarter Token ($POLS) pool at an around 3-5% discount, so we could test the Atomic Pools feature with early access participants.

On Polkastarter you will be able to participate in Standard Pools: pools where you buy tokens and then have to wait for the pool time to finish to receive your purchased tokens; and Atomic Pools: pools where you get your tokens immediately after purchase.

Polkastarter’s Staged MVP Roll Out

We’ve decided to divide our launch into 3 stages in order to be able to test our usability and interface in a stable environment before scaling out.

Phase 1: Featured Pools In a Stable Environment

In Phase 1 we are just launching the first batch of timed pools with 3 projects. You will be able to buy tokens, watch pool information and progress, and eventually claim/withdraw the tokens you purchased when the pool time elapses.

Phase 2: Permissionless Pools

Once Phase 1 is completed successfully we will be rolling out permissionless pools. This means that anyone in the world will be able to launch their own token swap pool as either a timed swap pool or an atomic swap pool.

Phase 3: Liquidity Mining

To incentivize daily participation in active token pools, we are launching a liquidity mining program in Phase 3.

Everyday we will be distributing POLS tokens to everyone that creates pools that successfully generate volume. Rewards and more details about this mechanism will be announced soon.

POLS Only Pools

The Polkastarter community comes first to our mind when we’re developing new features. From day one, Polkastarter (POLS) holders will have exclusive access to specific pools. In order to be eligible for participation in these pools you need to hold at least 1,000 $POLS tokens.

Audit and Security

Security is our number one priority, and because of that we decided to run our security audits with two different companies: Red4Sec and Hacken. In total, we ran 4 separate audits.

All issues and findings were fixed, giving us the green light to launch our smart contract on the mainnet.
