Polkastarter’s 2023 Progress Update: Launchpad, Acceleration, Hub, and Gaming

We are delighted to bring you the latest progress update from Polkastarter. Despite challenging market conditions, 2023 has been one of the most productive years for our project. We have continued to double down on building new businesses and verticals. All of that shows our dedication to and belief in the Web3 industry.

Over the past few months, we have made significant advancements across all 4 business units: Launchpad, Acceleration, Hub, and Gaming. All of these play a key and important role in our $POLS ecosystem.

Let's dive into the details and share with you our latest achievements!

Launchpad
Despite the challenges posed by the current bear market, we have been diligently working behind the scenes to prepare for future endeavors. We have a lineup of several projects ready to launch, awaiting the optimal market conditions.

However, you may be wondering why some blockchain projects are not launching their IDOs right now, even though they have promising potential. The reason is that they are focusing on building their products and communities, rather than chasing short-term hype and overvaluation. This is a smart and strategic move, as it will ensure their long-term success and value. Therefore, we are helping them to increase their chance of success when they launch. DeFi, infrastructure, and gaming are our most active areas of research and support today.

In addition to new projects, we have been developing exciting features to enhance your experience on Polkastarter. We are introducing a new profile system, the updated KYC process, an earning section, engaging quests, and much more. These additions will gradually go live with the coming project launches on Polkastarter.

One of the questions that our community may have is how Polkastarter is doing in terms of financial stability, legal compliance, and team activity. These are important indicators of our health and performance as a platform and a network. We are happy to report that Polkastarter is doing well in all aspects. We have a solid financial position, a compliant legal framework, and an active and dedicated team.

We have also expanded our team, hiring two new Web3 and blockchain researchers and adding one more person to our product team. We are also expanding the front and backend teams, so if you’re interested to join, you can apply here.

Acceleration
As previously communicated, our acceleration pillar runs under an independent business unit called Poolside. We are proud to have started with our first cohort in April 2023. The cohort features four unique projects, and we are confident that they have the potential to make a splash in our industry.

Our mission with the Poolside Web3 Accelerator is to nurture, advise, and mentor the next generation of projects supported by the POLS ecosystem. Paving the way for their success and contributing to the growth of the entire industry while becoming stakeholders at an earlier stage.

Hub
In our commitment to fostering innovation in the Web3 space, we have launched a groundbreaking Web3 hub called Poolside Lisbon. Located in Lisbon’s Web3 district, this hub serves as a vibrant meeting point and co-working space for like-minded individuals and organizations. We’ve already welcomed over 5,000 Web3 builders since our opening event in April.

We are delighted to collaborate with renowned brands such as Safe, Metamask, BNB Chain, CV Labs, Hacken, The Graph, Gnosis Chain, CryptoPunks and others to organize insightful talks and get-togethers. These events aim to support and incentivize Web3 builders, creating an environment where innovation thrives, and new possibilities emerge.

Gaming
Our gaming division has recently made significant strides with the launch of GAM3 Quests. This enhanced version introduces captivating quests for our partner games, resulting in an overwhelming response from the gaming community.

We have to acknowledge that virtually every significant Web3 game is now collaborating with Polkastarter Gaming. The statistics from our gaming campaign are truly remarkable, showcasing the enthusiasm and engagement of our users:

These numbers reflect the incredible adoption and success of our gaming initiatives. We are committed to providing an immersive and rewarding gaming experience for our community members, and we look forward to further enriching the gaming ecosystem in collaboration with our esteemed partners.
